About Me

My inspiration for art comes from the desire to create what I see in my mind in a tangible object, and also the challenge that comes when trying to produce what the mind’s eye sees and brings that to the canvas or paper. My work combines a very futurist style color pallet, yet has a focus on figures. These figures that represent the organic aspect and are contrasted with strong diagonals and geometric shapes; As an athlete and always moving my work represents the perspective I’m used to seeing things around me as a very blurred and disfigured body.  Also these works represent how my body has felt over my active life of being bent and injured, and also these works portray a sense of how damaging being active can be, for what we call a fit anatomy.
